 I have two daughters, ages 1 and 2 1/2, who have
been in Marcie's and Joe's daycare for the past year.
Marcie and Joey have a special way of interacting with
children that makes them enjoy the day. My 2 1/2 year
old daughter always gets excited about going to
daycare which goes to show that she has fun there and
is treated special all day. She has been in a public
daycare in the past. My husband and I have been
disappointed by some of the teachers she had in the
past - they did not seem to be thrilled to be there
with children and our daughter was not happy going
there as a result. Marcie and Joey appear to enjoy
being around children. My 2 1/2 year also started
learning numbers and the letters of the alphabet and
as parents we appreciate her getting that education
this early on. My husband and I are grateful to have
found Marcie and Joey to take care of our two little
girls.

My daughter has been in Marcie ABC Child Care for a year and half. I love the care that Marcie and her helpers give the kids. They truly care for the kids! Marcie goes the extra mile for the kids she watch. I had my daughter in a child care where they just watch TV. all day. When I pick up my daughter she has crafts, papers to take home from Marcie house. She has had farm animals come to her house so the kids and pet them. I love it! Marcie is one in the million child care providers out there!

To Whom It May Concern:

           My son has been in Marcie Sawyers pre school program for 2 years. When he started at 4 he was having trouble speaking clearly. We thought it was just a phase that all kids go through and would grow out of. She helped us identify that there could be a problem and sent us information that we could get him tested and get the speech therapy that he would need. We called the information and got him tested and found out that he did need the speech therapy and enrolled him in a free program with the school and worked with her and the school to have him picked up and dropped off at her house so he can go to school and get some more help with speaking properly.

Also he has come home every day with arts and craft projects that helped him learn his numbers, letters, shapes and colors among many more things. My son learned at 4 years old how to write his name, count up to 30, all his colors and ABC’s. When he tested for Kindergarten he tested at a first grade level and I do believe this is all because of Marcie’s pre-school efforts in her own childcare program. Now my 2 year old is going through her program and I believe will be just as advanced as our older boy. I would recommend Marcie Sawyer to teach child in her preschool program. She is well acquainted with the Pre-School/Kindergarten curriculum and works well with the parents to let them know what she has worked on with their child and if she thinks they are having issues she knows the references to help the parents and child get the help they need.
